allower buyers to pay shipping charges with credits
Allow buyers to pay the shipping charges with credits. This will make for a great trading site for collectors. Or set a minimum bid to allow for shipping charges

add short auctions, 8hr, 1 day etc so we can get points faster to buy more things!
Would love to see shorter listing options so we can sell items and get points faster so we can buy new things. There are auctions 3 or 4 days out in my watchlist but cant list anything for less then 3 days to be sure i have the points. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE!

I think we all need to have a spell check on the listings.
Your ad is so very important~ to look professional & for marketing.. I myself find myself looking up words for the correct spelling in a different tab because we all know you cant leave the listing pages to go check.So how easy would it be just to add the spell checker on the listing page so all of our ads would look a little better. So many ads I read that come from such nice people with nice things & the spelling is wrong. When you have a wrong spell in the top of the listing it becomes unsearchable. Please… more

"Wanted" button or category that users can click to view what others are looking for
Through posting in this category users can have a way of getting to know each other and their auctions and their returning bidders as well. It can help to refer someone to your own auction or another user that you know has the item of which one lists here as item "wanted"...and through use of this category button some may become acustomed to bidding on their favorite auctions of those that list often. On their profile or auction area-somewhere easily found, members can show a button for other visiting member to subscribe or become fans of their particular listing auctions… more

Suspend or terminate sellers charging EXCESSIVE SHIPPING COST
I've noticed more & more 'sellers' are charging excessive shipping costs - basically using shipping to circumvent the whole idea of Listia which is to give away items. These people are charging double or quadruple actual mailing cost, turning Listia into another moneymaker eBay. Some 'sellers' are even listing a cash price for their item.

make the ability of a reserve price
just like on ebay- people sometimes set reserve prices so they at least hope to get something of what they are looking for. of course this could work for and against items- but it would still be nice to have so things dont sell for 1 credit when it might be worth much more.

Searching is too complicated for free stuff. I just want to see everything that I can get for free in my general area.

Have the ability to retract a bid.
We seriously need the ability to retract a bid. I'm bidding on an item, and I just realized they added more info, and the product won't suit my needs. so a bid retraction system would be great. Maybe if someone keeps retracting an awful lot, there could be a way to suspend them for retracting for awhile?

add the ability to edit feedback we have given.
Once we have left feedback for a user, it would be useful if we could be able to edit it later on. This would be helpful to fix spelling errors and to make other corrections, and would be useful in an event such that a user wants to change their rating. For example, a user may leave negative feedback for receiving something broken. But then the seller may agree to resend a new item to replace the broken one. In this case, I would personally, as a buyer, upgrade my feedback to neutral or positive for their assistance and change… more

Allow people to transfer credits to friends :-))
I think it would be cool to allow the ability to transfer credits to your friends or even send them anonymously to another member. That would be cool.
If you suspect someone is in a down spirit, it would allow you to cheer them up or make their day.

Stop giving XP for comments...
Comments like "cool" "good" "i want to win" "good auction", et cetera are spam on auctions and are only posted for XP. XP should be given for meaningful things - like listing an auction or recieving/giving feedback, not leaving a comment.
If Listia really wants to award users for commenting, simply put a "+" next to the comment, and, if another listia user clicks it, the poster will get XP.
I think this system could be used to cut back on spam.

Allow Member To Delete Questions & Comments Posted That Do Not Pertain To The Auction
I have been receiving comments that do not pertain to the auction, such as: fdgerterfsdrt, junk like this is annoying and should have the option to be deleted. Some new members are abusing the privledge of commenting and asking questions just to receive points and are leaving unnecessary remarks. I have 13 comments that I have not replied to and that wont go away.

Settings for item credits
We should be able to say how much the credits the auction will start at. So that my TV doesn't sell for 10 credits ($1)

Notification if someone uses your invites
I'm not sure which of my friends have accepted invites from me. I have an Idea but it would be nice to get an email or something saying such and such user or person has used your invite.
